07 The flat area at the top of the cliff here is shown on the map as a "homestead" - dating from the centuries well before St Ninian or even the Romans came to this area. The small but rugged sea stack that you see out in the water here had plenty of bird life on it, as you can see in the detail shown below. | |||||
