from the golf course through Garries Wood. Notice the elaborate bridge
over a wee burn. There are several such features around in this old estate. The walk through the wood offers an easy and very pleasant stroll for the casual visitor to Gatehouse as you can see in the picture below. After heavy rain it can be muddy in places but otherwise no special footwear is required. |
