28 Here we are back where the car is parked and it has taken me around 5 hours 20 minutes. But remember I wander all over the place to take the pictures as I go.
The picture below, taken as evening comes to Troloss, shows Steygail dominating the Dalveen Pass as I head back down it to Carronbridge and thence for Dumfries by the A76. The 4x4 is coming up the pass heading for Elvanfoot direction and the M74.
