10 In these pictures we are coming off Lowther Hill looking down into Enterkin Pass as we make our way to the top of the pass which as we have seen is in the Saddle between Lowther Hill and East Mount Lowther. The old track down the pass shows up well in the snow. You can see that there would not be much scope in the upper part of the Enterkin Pass for the Harknesses of Mitchellslacks to lay their ambush here for the dragoons in the 17th century. | |||||
