26 Above is the view ahead of us as we head east on the Roman road. Those trees that you see on the left are at Overfingland, Potrail Water runs east through this valley to meet the Daer Water, and that is Meikle Shag on the right.
In the picture below we are getting our last look at the ball on the top of Lowther Hill - near the right edge of the picture and only just still visible. Comb Head is in front and to the left of that Steygail is just beginning to show on the left - round the shoulder of Caplaw Rig. The trees that you see are at Troloss at the top of the Dalveen Pass.
