06 So here we are in the picture
above making our way up onto Comb Law but looking back to where the SUW
makes it's way across towards Daer Reservoir. The SUW passes just to the
left side of those dark strips of tree on the right of the picture. Below shows the prospect ahead of me as I head up towards the slight saddle between Meikle Shag on the right of the picture and Comb Law on the left and I am still considering going onto Meikle Shag for pictures from the top. The third picture shows the view back down that fence that you saw in the second picture. You want to try to avoid those smooth bits in the snow such as you see near the bottom left corner and try to keep to areas where the grass is breaking through the snow - where it is smooth it tends to be deeper, covering over some hollow in the ground. |
