| 07 This new track that we have taken soon brings us to the point shown above - where there are these sheep pens. We will go through the gate where the three sheep are in the above picture near the left edge. From there you will make your way again along a track towards the the red asterisk where there is a ford. The sheep pens are quite a fascinating example of dry stane dyking as you can see below. There is a pole across the burn just outside the bottom picture and on the left side of it if you don't fancy the ford for any reason. | |||
