| 21 This is the view of Wanlockhead from Lowther. Wanlockhead is the highest village in Scotland at around 450mts. The Southern Upland Way coast to coast path comes up from Wanlockhead and over Lowther but from there it heads for Cold Moss and Comb Head rather than the way we will go down Wether Hill. There is a museum of leadmining in Wanlockhead and a youth hostel. | |||||
