12 Here is Sandy approaching the top of East Mount Lowther with it's very odd viewpoint indicator on top. It is made from a section of large bore water pipe filled with concrete and a bronze plaque on top. I have a picture of what's on the bronze plaque for you to see, but it is a large image and you will have to navigate around in it - otherwise the lettering would not have been large enough for you to be able to read the infromation it contains. To see the bronze plaque click on the link. It is worth a quick look - put there by Wanlockhead Youth Club and dedicated on 21st May 1944 it tells you. |
