22 Approaching the top of Well Hill and looking west we get this view. Black hill is still living up to it's name left of centre, Capel hill lies to it's right and Penbane to it's left. The skyline is interesting here.
I have marked on the picture below what I believe the hills are that I can see in the distance. Mouseover to see their names. I am not totally sure about Lamachan but I reckon that being the highest hill in the Minnigaff Hills at 717mts, it must be it. To have been on all these hills in all kinds of weather makes them old friends that you are pleased to see again - you have invested a bit of your life on each of them. Hill walkers will understand that.
