16 There is around 70 metres drop in height into the saddle between Dungrain Law and Peden Head but as you can see from the picture above this is over a distance of 1 kilometre and so you hardly notice it.
In the second picture we are approaching the top of Peden Head and looking back to Dungrain Law. Again you can see Tinto Hill towards the left of the picture.
