| 34 We followed the east bank of the burn down till we found a suitable gap in the trees before getting back onto the forest road. It turned out to be near Backhill of Bush until recently a bothy (which you see below) where we joined the forest road. It is a long weariesome walk back to Craigencallie along this forest track as you can see in the third picture and Sandy probably had it right - it would not have done my car much good to have driven up to Backhill of Bush along that surface. This historic bothy has been closed (2010) because of constant vandalism - people coming in on quod bikes etc with drink and drugs!!!!!!! People is not the right word for them of course. | |||||
