15 Here we have the Long Loch of the Dungeon with the tail of Dungeon Hill receding into the distance on the left and Meikle Craigtarson on the right. After we have come down off the tail of the Dungeon (which is shown on the OS map as Brishie) we will come back through the valley that you see in the middle of the above picture to these lochs.
I went round the east shore of the Long Loch to get the shot below of Dungeon Hill with the water in the foreground. You can see how it is not all that difficult to go up into the Nick of the Dungeon and then head north over the saddle below the top of Dungeon Hill at the left of the picture. Mouseover the picture to see the route I took after we had had our "piece" (Scots word for an informal repast).
