12 As we head up from White Bennan towards Mulldonoch we get this view. You can see there is still quite a bit of climbing to do before you get to Mulldonoch and there are quite a few false tops in the form of shapely crags on the way up. The Ordnance Survey map calls them Gawintoms. At this point in my walk the weather forecast of "showers in Galloway" began to come true.
