| 39 I couldn't believe what I was seeing when we found cows on the top of the ridge as we approached Buchan Hill itself. This was really bad news for me because with all the rain they have churned up whatever path there was and there wasn't a regular bit of ground to put a foot on. That's the Rig of the Jarkness running east into the picture behind the cow and the Glenhead lochs to her right. Meikle Millyea, Little Millyea and Darrou can be seen (from left to right) in the distance to the left of the picture. Cairnsmore of Dee is on the right beyond Jarkness. | |||||
