14 Here we are (above) down at those
lochans looking back towards Milldown. I arrived at the trig point on Meikle Millyea (below) at 1.27pm and I could see hints of the cloud moving off to reveal the landscape. So I sat in the lee of the cairn for 20 minutes or so and had something to eat. It had been 9.47 when I started away from the bridge over the Polmaddy Burn - so it had taken me 3 hours 40 minutes to here, and it was 12.10 pm as I came down off Corserine - it had taken me around 1 hour 20 minutes from there to here. It would have been much longer if I had been able to see anything and get some pictures. If you Mouseover the picture below you will see what the same view looked like after 20 minutes - the cloud was definititely lifting, or rather just drifting onward to somewhere else. |
