06 In the picture above we
are heading north from Meikle Millyea towards Milldown. Notice the dyke
which we picked up on Little Millyea and followed right over Meikle Millyea.
The white top to the right of Milldown is Corserine and the hills to the
left of it are the Dungeon Hills and Kirriereoch beyond on the edge of the
picture. In the second picture you can see where we had our lunch - just after we had come to the bottom of the descent from Meikle Millyea and were starting the ascent of Milldown. We were sheltered from the sharp north wind and in the sun here. The third picture gives the view south from where we had our lunch looking down into the nick between Meikle Millyea and Milldown and the frozen Lochans of Auchniebut which lie in there. |
