20 I wandered to the east from the top of Pykestone Knowe thinking I might get a view down into Manor Water glen and also to investigate all these heaps of stones that I could see in that direction. As you can see there is plenty of these large stone slabs east of the top of Pykestone.
That could be the Moorfoot and Lammermuir Hills in the distance in the picture above but I don't know that territory so I can't say for sure. That's Posso Craig just right of centre so we are looking a few degrees north of east.
In the picture below we are looking back towards the trig point.
