35 Now we are at the east end of St Mary's Loch. The first picture below is a blowup of a section of the above picture, showing the weir at the end of the loch. The red asterisk shows where the Southern Upland Way crosses the River Yarrow just after it has flown out of St Mary's Loch.
The bottom picture shows where the car is parked (at the red asterisk). It also shows Kirkstead Hill (to the right of centre) and Capper Law beyond it to the left. You can also see the cleuch between them that we went up into to get to Henderland Hill.
