25 Above is the view from Coomb Hill along the route we are going with the fence and vehicle track continuing ever onwards.
The picture below shows the steep drop between Coomb Hill and Broomy Law. The height drop from Coomb Law down into the saddle is around 150 mts. The height drop from Dollar Law to the saddle between it and Fifescar Knowe that we looked at on page 24 is less than 30 mts. It is interesting that this height difference of less than 100 ft can be seen so distinctly in the picture on page 24.
Again you can mouseover to see the names of the hills. Trahenna Hill is an interestingly shaped hill just NE of Broughton. See the bottom picture if you fancy admiring her shapely contours. Amazing is she not?
