07 In the picture above we are now both further up on, and further across the face of, Andrewhinney. Immediately above the waterfall you can see Mid Craig. White Coomb is on the left and Lochcraig Head is on the right. For some routes up past the waterfall and round these three hills above Loch Skene click here. If you look closely at the picture above you can just see Loch Skene nestling below Lochcraig Head. As you will see if you follow this Loch Skene link, this area "is important for an assemblage of glacial landforms, including fine examples of a corrie and hanging valley which were occupied by part of the largest glacier system in the Southern Uplands during the Loch Lomond Stadial".
In the picture below I am a good bit higher on Andrewhinney Hill and I have zoomed in to pick out Loch Skene, Mid Craig (on the left) and Lochcraig Head.
