| 35 Here we have finished our day's walk and are heading back (in my case) to Dumfries along the B729 road from Carsphairn to Moniaive. This is the view you get of Benniner (left of centre) and Moorbrock (right of centre). You can only see a small part of Cairnsmore from here though - up through the valley of the Poldores Burn between Beninner and Moorbrock. The dark shape to the left of this valley is the gairy on Beninner - not Cairnsmore as you might be inclined to think. |
