13 The south west corner of the island (known as Daft Annie's Steps) has some small though rugged cliffs. There are caves in this area which were well used in the days of smuggling along this coast, but in 35 minutes I did not have time to find them and quite probably it was not a low enough tide anyway to allow access to them.
The second picture gives a view up the west side of the island towards where the Hestan Elephant is in the north west corner. As you can see there were plenty of seagulls around showing their annoyance at my presence.
