| 08 The picture above shows you the view back down the Kirk Burn to the sea. I took this picture from the south bank of the burn where we had gone to see if we could find the remains of the Kirkmaiden Church which are mentioned in the OS map. You can see Sandy and Allan down near where they reckoned the church must have been though there was little to see of it now. The picture below was taken as we had come up the path through the whins and blackthorn which line the banks of the burn. | |||||
