13 In the picture above we are at the lodge beside the B7021 where the road runs into Monreith estate but really you want to get down to the path along the banks of White Loch of Myrton (as in the picture below) rather than walk along the tarred road to Monreith House.
There are some magnificent old trees in the estate. The one shown in the third picture is just beside the cranog.
