12 In the picture above we are approaching the Standing Stones of Drumtroddan. In the second picture you can see Cairnsmore of Fleet in the distance, behind Allan. These stones are on the 70 metre contour and so you can see just how flat the Machars are.
In the third picture you can see the trig point on top of Fell of Barhullion as we look from the gate at Drumtroddan. You can also see the road we have been walking on to get here.
The site is under the care of Historic Scotland and you can see the contents of their information board in the fourth picture.
