| 35 This reference to a book published about the harbour at war was pinned up in the village hall's glass case with the rest of the material I have used from there. Elsewhere in this site you will see plenty of much more elaborate information signage that I have photographed and used from other locations. It does surprise me a little that nobody has got round to doing that kind of thing here, but then this simple honest presentation at Garlieston seems to be in keeping with the unpretentious nature of the place - a real hidden gem. | |||||
