11 Above we are heading down towards Cally Palace Hotel on our way back to Carrick - more pleasant woodland to walk through. Below is Cally Palace Hotel which was built in 1763 - the country mansion of James Murray. There are pleasant easy walks from Gatehouse all around here in the former estate. Clicking on the link will take you to pictures of the final leg of the whole day's walk - ie. from here back to Carrick Shore.
