15 There is a triangulation point on the top of Rodger Law and the Lowther hills are beginning to emerge from the cloud. Comb Head over which the SUW runs up from Overfingland onto Cold Moss and Lowther Hill is on the right edge in the foreground of the picture above - with the Lowther ridge of hills running eastward over all the various tops.
In the picture below Steygail is on the left edge of the picture with Comb Head on the other side of the V-shaped gap.
As you can see the tops of the Lowther Hills were still affected by low cloud in these pictures but by the time I got to Scaw'd Law I was able to get the whole range in one shot without the cloud and I have put names to all the various hills etc in a large image of the Lowther Hills
