In the second picture we are eyeing up our line of descent from Faugh down into the valley of the Peden Burn. I could have gone to the eastern end of Faugh and descended more directly to the road but I wanted to have a look at the reservoir and the Peden valley in general. You can see the A702 running across the mouth of the valley. Once we are down to the road we will head left along it back to Glenochar, passing the road end on our right at Watermeetings which takes you to the Daer Reservoir. Watermeetings is left of centre in the picture below.
