18 Here we are at another of Mulldonoch's lochans looking East towards Loch Dee. That is the southern extremity of the Rhinns of Kells you see beyond and to the left of Loch Dee. The dark hill in front of them is Craiglee. The dark hill just to the right of Loch Dee is Cairngarroch. White Hill, from which we will descend later in the day, is the lighter hill nearer to us on the right.
In the first picture below I have moved forward to look down off Mulldonoch to the cycle track that we will return to Glentrool by and I have shown the route I came down off White Hill - see also the picture below this for the route off Curleywee. From the Nick of the Lochans there would be a fairly easy escape route down to the cycle track.

The dark hill in the centre of the picture below is Curleywee and White hill lies to the left of it. Our route will take us over the tops of these hills. You can mentally join up the overlap in these two pictures to give you a wider panorama.
