30 That is the entrance to Tibbie Shiels Inn above as it looked on 20th June 2008. The picture below shows what it looked like in the late 19th century. So the side we are looking at with the entrance porch in the picture above is the old part of the cottage. There was no other side until around 1905 according to Robson.
The third picture is one I took of Tibbie Shiels that hangs on the wall of the bar - so excuse the quality but it seems appropriate to use her picture from her own wall.
