15 Here we have started out onto Mid Craig. This side of the hill is also in shadow most of the day and so the snow survives. Beyond Loch Skene and Watch Knowe on the far bank the land drops down into Moffat Dale and the three round hills that you see beyond Moffat Dale are on the Bodesbeck Ridge in the Ettrick Hills.
