17 Above is a view down the Holms Water valley as I was climbing Gathersnow. You can see the dark profile of Chapelgill on the left and you can also see how much easier it would be to go up Congrie Hill which is catching the light in front of it.
Below is what I take to be wild strawberry. There was plenty of this on Gathersnow.
