| 11 At this stage of our walk, from Chapelhill to Culter, Tinto is ever present to the north west of us. It wasn't the clearest of days, and there was actually quite a bit of blue haze in most of the pictures in this web gallery. I have had to work hard in Photoshop to cut back the blue and build up the contrast in the distant landscape to bring out the detail. So that is why some of the pictures look a bit unnatural but then you would not get the detail otherwise. | |||||
