09 Around the water's edge there is also plenty of lush plant life. This plant with the blue flower interested me, growing as it does where the salt water must get to it at times. The first picture below shows the same type of plant from slightly further up the beach and here it is in flower. I think this may be a type of Sea Lavender.
The third and fourth pictures show Sea Aster I reckon.
