17 This is the view out over Water of Fleet Bay taken as we descend from Cairnharrow. There is a walk out to Ardwall Island on this web site and one along the eastern shore of Water of Fleet Bay from Carrick Shore to Gatehouse. Sandgreen is the sandy bay you can see near the left edge of the above picture. On page 6 of the Carrick web gallery you can get a picture back across the bay to where we are now.
In the picture below I have zoomed in to the above picture and picked out Carrick Shore with a red asterisk and Ardwall Island with a blue one.
