20 You soon come upon this information board which shows various walks through the wood - which you have on your left as you come along the vehicle track from the bottom of Castramont Cleuch. Notice the spelling of the word "Castramont" here - without a "t" at the end and with an extra "r" as the third letter. This is the name of the big house here "Carstramon" and this spelling has been used on the sign shown above.
Just by this sign we left the vehicle track and took the path which heads south-east through the woods.
