| 09 From the front edge of Pettylung looking east you get this view down into the Dalveen Pass as it makes it's way over to Elvanfoot and the M74 motorway. Caplaw Rig juts across most of the picture from the right forcing the A702 to go round it. I went up onto that Rig to get shots back down the Dalveen (see page 19 for a view from there). To get there I traversed the face of the hills that you see to the right of the picture - so that I could continue to get the views down into the Pass. |
